Tucked between Chelsea’s two iconic thoroughfares, this interior-designed apartment offers a quieter perspective on its neighbourhood. A reimagining by Atelier Chelsea Design brings the refined feel inside, drawn together with a restrained palette and carefully drawn detail.
The reception and dining room runs the width of the front, light floorboards underfoot and a soft, textured feature wall. Sliding French doors extend the space onto the south-facing balcony, drawing the room outwards to rooftops, treetops and the gardens below. The kitchen lies just beyond: bespoke oak cabinetry, bronzed units overhead and smooth stone worktops. A breakfast table looks out across the streets, catching light from both sides.
To the opposite end, two double bedrooms are finished with custom joinery. The principal is calm and uncluttered, with a sash window filtering in light. The second, fitted with a full wall of oak shelving and concealed storage, serves equally well as a study or guest room. A modern shower room completes the plan.
Considered throughout, refurbishments here reach beyond the surface – new double glazing, improved insulation and noise reduction, automated blinds and an integrated light and audio system all fold neatly out of sight.

Consultar ahoraChelsea unfolds in every direction from here. The King’s Road and the Fulham Road are moments away, lined with shops, restaurants, bars and galleries, while the garden squares and quiet residential streets between them offer a calmer counterpoint. Explore the Saatchi Gallery and Duke of York Square, where the Saturday food market sits alongside the boutiques and the green of the square; beyond lies Sloane Square, with Peter Jones and the Royal Court Theatre. To the south, the streets fall away towards the Chelsea Physic Garden and the river at Chelsea Embankment, while the museums of South Kensington are a short distance north. Saturdays are best spent browsing the King’s Road, then down to the Thames for a walk along the water.
