Nestled in Ibiza’s rural north sits Finca La Inika, an exquisitely renovated 17^th-century finca that offers a complete disconnect from the busy pace of modern life. Set in a spectacular estate in San Lorenzo, the villa is surrounded by established trees ­­– fragrant orange, almond and sweet carob – that give a pervading feeling of secluded peace. With architecture and interiors by Ted Milano and Studio C, the finca itself is a perfect balance of history and contemporary design; imagine the soft curve of arched doorways, shady outdoor living spaces, natural stone details and the soothing tones of terracotta and wood. There is even a characterful stone tower that houses one of the bedrooms within its round form.

All nine bedrooms are styled with artisanal furniture and delicious textiles, and each has a en-suite bathroom. It might be hard to imagine wanting to leave your beautiful bed, but the multiple private and communal spaces throughout the grounds are delightfully decorated and inviting. Quiet reading nooks create moments of pause within the cool interior, while built-in seating and outdoor dining spaces draw you out into the lush gardens. Choose from colourful velvet seating in a Moroccan-style outdoor lounge, tables under ancient olive trees, and loungers by the pool. Rustic wooden doors connect the indoors to the outdoors, and a long pine-wood table seats all 18 guests together. The oval-shaped saltwater pool and its surrounding stone terrace is the perfect spot in which to soak up the Ibicencan sunshine, or retreat to the shade for a game of boules.

The unique, circular tower suite includes its own lounge and a private roof terrace with panoramic views, while all the suites open into private gardens, balconies and terraces. The two garden suites feature open air showers for a truly star-lit experience.

Truly an oasis, wander through the grounds to find the grassy football pitch, children’s treehouse, outdoor yoga deck, meditation tipi and biodynamic garden. For a more relaxed evening, pull down the cinema screen and settle into a movie with a pizza cooked in the rustic stone pizza oven.
