Sibling duo Ashish Bajoria and Suman Kanodia joined family and business forces to found luxury design brand Scarlet Splendour. Boasting opulent and exuberant interior products, and collaborating with various notable international designers across their collections, the brand places value in creating pieces which evoke sensibility and a unique vision. Their range of furniture, lighting, and accessories “reflect a rich front of inspiration from all eras”.

Growing up in an environment where art and artisanry were encouraged, the rich multi-cultural environment undoubtedly inspired the duo and naturally sharpened their aesthetic eye through a mutual love of collecting beautiful objects, paintings and decorations, all of which are evoked throughout their creations. 

“After individually developing a keen eye for the world of art, fashion and design, coupled with dynamic marketing abilities and sharp business acumen, the siblings joined forces bonded by a mutual unwavering passion for art and interior design. Drawing inspiration from their enriched backgrounds, Scarlet Splendour heralds a blend of cultures and transcends geographical borders to achieve the extraordinary in the world of design”. 

Having already worked closely with international brands including Matteo Cibic and design duo Dario Contessotto and Mirco Colussi where they often merged Italian and Indian traditions into the final designs, the Kolkota-based brand continues to grow since their debut at Milan Design Week in 2015. We can’t wait to see what’s next in store for Scarlet Splendour.
