2017 is drawing to a close, and we can’t help but think just how much our year has been brightened by the architects, designers, artists, photographers, thespians and audiences who have worked, collaborated, featured or engaged with us in the last 12 months. It’s been such fun reigniting old friendships and growing our Domus Nova family, and as a thank you to all who have lit up our lives, we wanted to return the favour. Our Christmas display this year has been designed to bring as much sparkle and cheer to your holiday season as possible. We couldn’t think of a better way to evoke a bit of old-school joy than with a dazzling display of festive, vibrant, twinkly, little-bit-kitsch Christmas lights. So we pulled a ‘Santa Claus’ and went to town! It took an amazing amount of time and effort from both Team Domus and our friends at City Power but the results were more than worth it and we’re overjoyed with the cheerful effect they have had on passers-by and everyone who comes to visit us. Since they went up on December 1, there has been so much engagement and a fantastic sense of community spirit: people coming in from off the street just to tell us how much they love the lights or even stopping for a photoshoot. In fact, one of the first to do so was famed London photographer and friend of Domus, John Paul Pietrus! So feel free to follow his lead and get LIT with Domus Nova. Snap a shot of yourself in front of our windows all aglow and join our happy movement on Instagram @domusnovalondon with #domusislit. We hope you enjoy, and may all your Christmasses be BRIGHT!
