Danish company KBH (Københavns Møbelsnedkeri) is committed to the craft of handmade furniture. It is led by the vision of creating high quality design furniture and known for our unmistakable world of nordic-ness, ideas and excitement.
Founder and musician Kim Dolva got his creative start making his own guitars, though this soon evolved into a furniture collective in central Copenhagen. Together, the small team works towards a shared goal of reviving the heritage of organic Danish design. They take the brief seriously - foraging for oak in the local woods, fuming it and then using mostly hand-operated workshop machinery to create their bespoke pieces. Their furniture and installations have left a strong fingerprint on private homes, shops, offices and iconic restaurants around the world, and their line of New Classics can now be ordered via Staffan Tollgard Design Store in the UK.
