Ten Designers in the West Wing presented the work of an impressive list of well-established names, exhibiting in collaboration with their best clients. The participating designers, all of whom were invited by London Design Festival, created a bespoke environment in which to display their work within the recently renovated rooms in the building’s West Wing.
The exhibition was a showcase of creativity and the very best in contemporary design and production. “The elegant rooms at Somerset House allowed us to exhibit the work of an invited group of designers, each of whom has creatad a series of design stories about their work and the key brands with whom they work. It was a new way for us to present design in London Design Festival and its quality to stand out,” explains Festival Director, Ben Evans.
Participating designers included Alex Rasmussen, Arik Levy, Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby, Faye Toogood, Luca Nichetto, Jasper Morrison, nendo, Patternity, Ross Lovegrove and Tino Schaedler. Monocle Radio had a temporary studio in the West Wing for the duration of London Design Festival.
