Villa Luna sits high on Ibiza’s south coast – the bay of Es Cubells spread out below, the Mediterranean stretching beyond it. The architecture is a quiet reinterpretation of the island’s whitewashed vernacular: clean lines, purist materials and vast planes of glass that dissolve the boundary between inside and out.

The open-plan living space works in warm earth tones, bespoke furniture and plenty of natural light. Sliding glass doors open the full width of the room onto the terrace, where there’s ample space to soak up the sun, dine outdoors or seek shade on the day bed. The infinity pool is large enough for laps; a shallow shelf at one end makes it easy to quickly cool off.

Elsewhere, four double bedroom suites are stylish and tailored to resting. Each faces outwards – some to the glittering sea, others to the green hills of the interior.
