Tom Simpson Design’s goal is to promote positive connections between people and nature by designing beautiful gardens that their clients will fall in love with.

Designs are led by a brief but not bound by it and they know when to be bold in places and when to have a lighter touch. Their style is contemporary with a respect for the past, and the studio believes that the simplest ideas are often the best ones. Gardens by Tom Simpson Design have a sense of permanence and belonging, being at one with their surroundings. They speak to each setting without being restrained by it.

With the studio based in London, they work on a wide portfolio of projects and have attracted an array of UK-based and international clients.

Principal Designer, Tom Simpson, has been awarded eight Royal Horticultural Society awards, including three Gold Medals as well as Best In Show at the RHS Hampton Court Palace Flower Show.

The studio has extensive experience in successfully executing intricate landscape schemes across a diverse array of projects, navigating challenging planning considerations for listed buildings and parkland, including projects situated in the greenbelt and where strict ecological restrictions apply.
