Pursuing her passion for horticulture, Lucy Willcox Garden Design offers invigorating and inviting landscape scenes.
With a penchant for transforming restricted urban plots into wonderfully crafted and thoughtful gardens, this landscape studio brings outdoor spaces to life. Its founder, Lucy Willcox, gave up her career as a TV Director and picked up a garden design course at the Inchbald school in London before spending her placement with respected landscape architect Christopher Bradley-Hole. Going on to establish her own firm with the aim of crafting contemporary outdoor retreats in London, this practice is demonstrating that size doesn’t matter after all.
Creating a space that is versatile and feels like a natural extension of the home is central to the success of her schemes. You’ll notice this is in her Highgate project where she cleverly zoned a garden to accommodate the needs of a growing family. Her award-winning city roof terrace at the Strand is a testament to her understanding of how to enhance a space from both indoors and out.
