Guided by the relationship between interior design and human behaviour, this studio’s humanistic approach brings new life to profound and elegant spaces.

Distinguished by her sensitive and minimalist approach, Fran’s sixth-sense understanding of the built environment is a result of her gilded design credentials. After cutting her teeth at Soho House Group and Waldo Works, Fran opened her eponymous studio in 2014, where her clean-cut, striking style captured global attention.

Working across a breadth of luxury commercial, residential and hospitality projects around the world, Fran’s hair-splitting attention to detail unites her client’s personality with architectural context and symbolism. A purveyor of meaningful design, from shape to material, Fran draws on a probing and reflective research process to weave an unforgettable and powerful story.

Fran’s uplifting interiors can be experienced in Locket’s near Green Park or Fran’s favourite project, Moda Operandi, in Belgravia. Her overhaul of an 1850s Notting Hill townhouse saw the installation of a statement Barbara Hepworth-inspired elliptical staircase. Over in New York, she reimagined Manhattan nail art studio, Paintbox. Her next focus? A brand-new product line.
