Ceramicist Charlotte de Lantsheere takes her cues from the undulating Ibizan countryside to create striking one-of-a-kind, hand-glazed tableware from her San Mateo studio, surrounded by almond trees.

Belgian native Charlotte de Lantsheere transformed her passion project into a business, having chalked up 10 years in the fashion industry. Since moving to the island, Charlotte has turned her alchemical hand to creating striking stoneware designs of plates, bowls and cups. Their distinct irregular form and hand-glazed finish means every piece is unique.

Coloured in richly pigmented earthy tones of rust, blue and green, her creations mimic the surrounding Ibizan landscape and sit on the tables of many an island eatery, as well as featuring in the recipe book Sobremesa – Sergio Herman’s ode to Ibizan food. Charlotte also opens her studio up to teach workshops.
