The Marshmallowists , Oonagh Simms & Kim Smart, are tearing up the city with their gourmet offerings. The story of how it all started goes back, way back to October 2011, where Smart [one half of the team] walked into a West London cocktail bar where Simms [the other half] was sitting, having recently returned from her 4 year Chocolatier training in Paris. A conversation soon started and quickly sparked on their shared love of all things French & confectionery-related. A few drinks later, the two had the idea to combine Smart’s food & drink industry knowledge with Simms’ expert hands. Since then the pair have hit jackpot with their insanely delicious and homemade selections of gourmet marshmallows, all made in Simms' Shepherd's Bush kitchen. The gals combine expertise, an intense desire to please and a fearless approach to using only the best ingredients money can buy. But it wasn’t until the girls started getting truly fantastic results that they began to sell on Portobello Road right outside the bar they first met in - The Portobello Star. The girls have had such success that they've even featured in Stylist, Vogue, The Guardian, Daily Mail and many more.
