An innovative garden designer making waves in the horticultural world with her immersive, tactile designs and sensitivity to landscape.
Alexandra Noble set up her eponymous company in 2017, defining a new era of landscape designers creating garden havens hat harmonise with their surroundings. She studied architecture before working for two horticultural greats, Luciano Giubbilei and Jo Thompson, explaining the almost geometric signature in her garden designs.
Her practice (which is based in Camden) is characterised by texture, movement, colour and scent, and has generated an impressive list of accolades – designs for the RHS’s Chelsea Flower Show and Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival among others. Whether it’s a series of planters in London’s Audley Street, or a private garden overlooking Hampstead Heath’s ponds, Alexandra Noble celebrates nature at any scale in every project she conducts.
