An award-winning multi-disciplinary studio, Echlin designs exceptional spaces that revolve around personal experience, wellbeing and craftsmanship.

Directors and Co-founders Mark O’Callaghan and Sam Mc Nally pooled together their expertise in upmarket design, fashion and property development to set up Echlin in 2011. The brand is a visionary practice that maximises materiality, light and an affinity with nature. Each project showcases an understated luxury with a timeless character. Founded on the principles of a collaborative and organic culture, Echlin’s in-house team of architects, interior designers and strategists work closely with a network of British craftspeople and manufacturers to execute their signature aesthetic; serene and expansive with a classic 20^th-century industrial spin. Expect broken-plan layouts, organic materials and light, airy spaces.

The founders’ projects are as diverse as their background, ranging from residential, commercial, and retail spaces to new-build, historic and listed properties. Notable work includes the restoration and extension of Leverton House, a period home in the Pembridge Conservation area in Notting Hill and the reinterpretation of a traditional terraced property into a new, five-story contemporary building.
