Flower Michelin is a London-based architectural practice which offers a full range of architectural services on residential and commercial projects. Established in 2004 by Alex Flower and Chantal Michelin, the practice creates carefully considered, design-led buildings and spaces, which enhance both clients’ lives and the surrounding environment. With a founding ethos on high quality and precisely detailed minimalist architecture, each project is carefully tailored to address the specific client’s brief and needs while challenging the site conditions to maximise potential and value. Their projects respect the historic fabric of existing buildings and sites but reinvent these for modern uses, thoughtfully combining old and new. Completed projects include an art gallery, a boutique, new-build homes and a wide range of refurbishment projects, often in Listed buildings and sensitive conservation areas. The firm work throughout London and further afield on projects ranging in size, location, extent and programme. Their projects have been featured in episodes of Grand Designs and London Live, as well as several publications.
