Siegfried Contemporary is a London based Art Consultancy & Advisory service for private and corporate clients, specialising in Modern and Contemporary Art, especially originated from Europe and North America. Siegfried Contemporary maintain close relationships with galleries, foundations, artists, specialists and auction houses for both primary and secondary markets. As part of our service, they analyse current trends as much as blossoming potentials to consequently advise on all aspects of constituting, developing and sustaining a collection. In other words, they provide comprehensive research on specific works to therefore organise relevant historical and referential literature, administrative and technical documentation, such as valuations, shipping and condition reports, as well as certifications. Siegfried Contemporary launched its private showroom in spring 2012 aiming to showcase modern and contemporary art in a domestic environment. This showcase recalls late 18th and 19th Century Salons where people such as Liszt, Delacroix or even Marcel Proust used to gather and discuss ideas, mainly regarding literary, cultural and political issues. For visits are by appointment only, each exhibition becomes a place of encounter between artists, collectors and art enthusiasts, with the art works and their intrinsic ideas, concepts and affects.
