At this modernist villa, the sea views come into focus more fully with every level. On the ground floor, palms fill the foreground, with bands of blue visible through the fronds. Upstairs, a wraparound balcony opens the bedrooms to the coastline, while the rooftop sun deck looks out over the waves, washed in the west coast’s golden hour light.
Everything is closely connected to the outdoors. The living area unfolds as one sociable space, a palette of muted concrete and grey keeping the focus on the colour beyond. Wall-to-wall glazing brings the garden within reach, while a cinema and wine room make staying in nearly as tempting as stepping outside.
A suspended fire forms the focal point, separating the seating area from the kitchen – a sweep of dark wood, burnished tones and polished concrete. At its centre, an island flows into an integrated dining table, creating a natural place to come together.
From here, life moves outside to the pool terrace and a series of spaces that gradually slow the pace: a tucked-away seating area offers a quieter corner while a shaded chillout with a firepit and circular banquette is made for gathering as sunset gives way to night.
The principal suite sits apart on the ground floor, all washed concrete and deep tones, with direct access to the garden. Its Balinese-inspired bathroom is particularly atmospheric: a shower framed by a picture window looks out to the palms, while ochre tiles bring warmth to the pared-back finishes. Upstairs, four further bedrooms are elevated above the landscape, each opening onto the balcony and uninterrupted sea views.
