Objects for life; inspired by heritage products, reimagined for the modern eye, Feldspar is a creative studio offering handcrafted pieces designed to weather the trends of time.
Jeremy and Cath Brown’s move to the Devonshire countryside from London in 2016 granted them space and time to slow down and experiment with their creativity. After purchasing a ceramics wheel and creating a 20-piece dinner set for themselves, they realised the accessibility of their craft. Feldspar is named after a mineral that is abundant on Dartmoor, denoting strength and longevity. Their ethos is to create durable, high quality objects with a timeless aesthetic – but particularly to keep the craft of fine bone china and alive. Their fine handles and cobalt hues echo the style of heritage china, fused with a contemporary style for an overall timeless aesthetic.
Feldspar’s modern and elegant bone china wares have been featured in House and Garden, The Sunday Times Home, Telegraph Magazine and Living Etc. to name but a few. Their handmade ceramic collections are sold in leading design retailers across the globe from Hong Kong to Canada. Find their products sold by Fortnum & Mason and Matches Fashion, too.
