LUV Studio’s founder Christian Sintes’ guiding principle on the pleasure of living is in the art of simplicity. Born in Menorca, he calls himself an ‘island person’ and his work demonstrates a deep understanding for subtle nuances of Balearic lifestyle.
Designs balance space, technology and a refined aesthetic – always showing a strong respect for nature and a devotion to fine materials. There’s particular care taken to ensure the boundaries of indoors and outdoors are blurred – expect hidden pocket doors, oversized windows and natural textures. Furthermore, the studio takes create care to ensure spaces work in harmony with the Mediterranean seasons: solar protection in the summer period; maximum daylight in wintertime. This kind of attention to detail is indicative of a firm with a deep understanding of the islands, ensuring every project is executed with excellence.
