JEA Arquitectura y Paisajismo SLP

Blurring the boundaries between architecture and landscape, this Ibiza-based practice takes a considered approach to design, creating spaces that respond intuitively to their surroundings.

With offices in Ibiza and Madrid, JEA Arquitectura y Paisajismo is an architectural and landscape design practice led by Juan Echeverría Aramendi. Building on the legacy of award-winning studio deBM, where Echeverría worked alongside Oscar García and John Meagher, the practice brings together decades of architectural expertise with a considered approach to design.

Its roots extend to Dublin-based de Blacam and Meagher Architects, a practice recognised on several occasions by the prestigious Mies van der Rohe European Architecture Awards.

At the heart of JEA’s philosophy is the belief that architecture and landscape should exist in dialogue. Each project is shaped by its surroundings, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, materiality and sustainability. The result is architecture that feels both contemporary and deeply connected to its setting, balancing creative ambition with practical considerations.

With more than 20 years of experience across residential and commercial projects in Spain and wider Europe, Echeverría leads a multidisciplinary team united by a commitment to thoughtful, enduring design.
