Using intelligent design to compose living spaces that respond to and positively impact the surrounding environment, this studio is building for the future.

DOS Architects’ raison d’être is simple; “to be the leading designers of social change in the architectural industry creating a lasting legacy of better lives around the world”. Having cut their teeth with prolific architectural practices including Zaha Hadid, Philippe Starck, and Ron Arad, founders Tavis Wright and Lorenzo Grifantini met at Foster & Partners before launching DOS Architects in 2006. The idea followed their successful bid to build a 90-storey tower in Dubai, setting the standard for this new firm.

They work closely with their clients, their in-house team of interior and product designers as well as a network of leading local consultancies and suppliers on a diverse portfolio ranging from small-scale domestic projects to international masterplan developments. Take La Torre Biance (The White Tower), for example. This austere cubist white house offers a modern take on the local Salento architecture in Italy. In Westbourne Church, they flawlessly unite Gothic architecture with contemporary 21st-century design.  In Brook Green, they transformed two traditional Victorian terraces into an eye-catching family home, with an ambitious glass box rear extension.
