Augustus Brown set up this namesake practice in 2009 to deliver sophisticated and bespoke contemporary architectural solutions to projects that range from domestic to commercial. As part of their clean-touch, hands-on approach, their designs revolve around research and open conversations with their clients, guiding them through each stage of the process, from conception through to completion.

Minimal detailing and in-built functionality have become their defining hallmarks, characteristics that found favour with cult retailer Wolf & Badger. Augustus Brown’s design of their store in New York includes a palette of white powder-coated perforated metal, cork and polished brass and custom-made seating and product display areas. Working on art spaces, high-end residential, and retail projects both in UK, and overseas, they craft buildings that straddle the equilibrium between aesthetics and function.
