Palissandro House is a contemporary two-storey house in New Farm, Brisbane by Shaun Lockyer Architects.
A modern masterpiece, the property was conceived as a pure form, capturing lights, breezes and views by its apertures and fenestrations. With a striking view, one of its most impressive features is its rosewood façade, to provide an interplay of dappled light and shade.
The home's large living spaces open out to a loft overlook featuring an indoor and outdoor waterfall and glass-enclosed pool, connected to the rest of the building by a vast concrete patio. A fantastic contrast to the wooden nature of the home.
The first floor of the home is fitted out with functional, contemporary furniture including a modern, industrial-style kitchen while the second level features a master bedroom with two en-suite bathrooms.
One of our favourite-ever urban retreats... thank you Shaun Lockyer Architects.
