MmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmMmFashion Week: one of our favourite times of the year - whether it be in London, Paris, New York or Milan - WE LOVE IT. Though London Fashion Week is of course our favourite [and it starts today!], there's something about this year's Paris Fashion Week that's stolen our hearts. How fitting given it's Valentines Day and all.
Let us present to you Vogue Paris’ and Hugo & Victor's patisserie pop up that has set up shop in the atrium of retailer Printemps Haussmann, one of Paris' biggest department stores. Setting our hearts aflutter, this Fashion Week pre-show event delivers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with Fifties-style modernism, Scandinavian design, mid-century modern sculptures and some of Vogue's most beautiful magazine covers from the past. Similar to a private Parisian apartment, the pop up features pretty-in-pink panelled walls with opulent gold chandeliers by Delightfull, 1970s brass and chrome pieces and mannequins carefully dressed by the magazine's stylists. Oh so Vogue and oh so stylish, the pop up is a fun little maison-away-from-maison for the foodie-fashion lover…
As for the menu, the café offers a range of pastries, fruit juices, and teas alongside a selection of salads and club sandwiches from Parisian culineray duo Hugo & Victor. Much more than just a fashionable pop-up, the Vogue café brings something deliciously new to Paris.
If you’re lucky enough to be in Paris in the springtime, this little gem will be open until 22 March 2014.
