Not afraid to make a statement, this west London interior design firm channels joy through uplifting colours and bold patterns.
“We have noticed in recent years that clients are moving away from neutral or ‘safe’ interiors in favour of a bolder, more characterful aesthetic,” says Saskia Howard, who heads the practice alongside co-founder James Arkoulis. “We expect to see more and more expressive, colourful designs that truly reflect homeowners’ personalities in the year ahead and beyond.”
With over 20 years’ collective experience, the duo is au fait with renovations across residential and cultural spaces. From reworking historic sites to contemporary new-builds, their interior vernacular is defined by daring tones and textures.
The studio has gained significant industry accolades: in 2022, they were named one of Country and Townhouse’s 50 Finest Interior Designers and House and Garden Magazine’s Top 20 Up and Coming Designers. They also prioritise reclaimed or antique pieces, and locally-produced materials – preferring to use British makers, timbers and fabrics where possible.
