This bright and stylish first-floor apartment is just a short walk from Golborne Road, an ideal pied-à-terre in one of west London’s most desirable neighbourhoods. Original details – a marble fireplace, lofty ceilings and sash windows – set the foundation, layered with carefully chosen pieces, from mid-century dining chairs by W. H. Klein to an Italian chandelier and relaxed tuxedo sofa.

Design here is quietly considered. A built-in green marble bar punctuates the living space – a polished spot for mixing evening drinks. In the separate kitchen, white Marlborough Tiles and Belgian blue limestone worktops create a crisp, architectural feel, while a Devialet sound system ensures evenings unfold with the right soundtrack.
