Organic Ibicencan materials that feel in harmony with the surrounding landscape; outstanding sea and sunset views, framed by verdant hills; year-round gatherings held in restful indoor and outdoor spaces. Set within a sprawling 30,000 square metre plot, Villa Almare is a modern finca that’s set to soothe.
Surrounded by rich forest and native shrubbery, there’s a complete sense of privacy as you arrive at the property. An entranceway with large timber double doors makes a bold first impression, beyond which is a spacious open-plan kitchen and reception room. At one end of the space, there’s a fireplace for cosy nights in; at the other, a chef-grade kitchen is complete with a range oven and plenty of preparation space. Throughout the room, whitewashed ceiling beams, luminous stone floors and an abundance of sunlight make for a calming social setting.
Head through a series of French windows to reach the large outdoor dining terrace and lounge – kept shaded beneath Sabina wood beams. From here, there are far-reaching views across the rolling hills and azure ocean beyond. The verdant grounds are tiered, with a set of stone steps leading down to the infinity swimming pool. Bordered by a decked terrace with sun loungers and palm trees, it’s a perfect spot to cool off or watch the sunset come evening. Elsewhere, an additional veranda contains an al-fresco kitchen, barbecue and dining area that’s tailor-made for entertaining. Demonstrating the villa’s commitment to wellness and relaxation, there’s a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and exercise equipment to use.
Across the main house and a thoughtfully designed guest casita, Villa Almare offers six serene bedroom suites, each conceived with a refined Ibicencan character. In each, pale walls and minimalist furnishings, large windows and stone-clad bathrooms with rainfall showers or freestanding bathtubs contribute to the overall sense of calm. Positioned on the first floor, four of the rooms open onto a spacious terrace which boasts panoramic sunset and sea views. In a separate guest house, the remaining two bedroom suites offer privacy for couples, extended stays and visiting friends.
