Guided by their passion for a circular economy, sustainable design and inclusive community, this west London social enterprise puts people and the planet first.

These are furniture makers with a mission. Located at the base of Ernö Goldfinger’s iconic Trellick Tower, the eponymously–named Goldfinger team creates inspiring furniture from their studio and workshop. From bespoke residential projects to some of the UK’s leading names in retail and hospitality (Tate Modern, Selfridges and Soho Home to name a few), their timeless furniture is crafted from responsibly-sourced and reclaimed timber. Thus far, over 400 tonnes of material have been rescued from landfill and been transformed into beautiful, long-lasting pieces. No project is too ambitious for the designers and makers, who work closely with clients that share their commitment to sustainability.

Profits are reinvested to support their social impact through the Goldfinger Academy’s woodworking courses and career guidance programmes: these sessions are driven with enthusiasm to protect the planet, aid social mobility and give back to the local neighbourhood. Every month, Goldfinger partners with next door restaurant Panella to host their free community meal, the People’s Kitchen. Having served over 12,000 meals, it’s a beloved calendar fixture that epitomises togetherness and the impact of group endeavour.
