Founded by Ashley Law in 2022, Flawk is a creative spatial practice working across architecture, interiors and collectible design.
The studio grew from a series of self-initiated residential projects in London. Conceived as testing grounds for new ideas, these early works reveal an enduring interest in generous architecture, tactile materials and bespoke elements that sit somewhere between artwork and utility. Its spaces and objects share a distinctive language: playful yet refined, materially rich and unconstrained by convention.
As Flawk’s team has expanded, so too has its scope. Today, the practice moves between scales and geographies, from singular objects for the home to complete residences for clients as far afield as Singapore.
The studio designs spaces that unfold gradually, rewarding closer inspection with unexpected details and moments of discovery. No element is considered in isolation: a door handle is approached with the same intent as a building’s façade, allowing ideas to migrate between projects and evolve over time.
That exploratory spirit extends beyond the conventional boundaries of design practice. Through editorial projects, workshops, educational initiatives and supper clubs, Flawk continues to question what a contemporary studio might be – charting an independent course through architecture, art and design.
