Field Day Studio

Characterful, layered and quietly individual, Field Day Studio creates interiors that celebrate the nuances of both the architecture and the people who inhabit it.

For Field Day Studio, the most compelling interiors are those with a story to tell. Founded in 2013 by Jessica Gibbons and Kat Turner, the London-based practice has built a reputation for creating thoughtful, characterful spaces that balance individual expression with everyday liveability.

There’s a distinctly personal thread running through the studio’s work. Rather than subscribe to a signature aesthetic, Gibbons and Turner take their cues from the architecture, its history and the personalities of those who live there. The result is an eclectic portfolio of homes, where considered colour palettes, tactile materials and carefully sourced vintage pieces sit comfortably alongside contemporary interventions.

From a Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse in Hackney to an Arts and Crafts home in Putney and a coastal Victorian villa in Devon, each project offers a different perspective on the relationship between old and new. Original features are celebrated, layouts reimagined and unexpected details introduced to lend spaces a sense of individuality.

Beyond aesthetics, there’s an emphasis on the practicalities of living well. Working closely with clients from concept to completion, the duo create interiors that feel collected rather than contrived – spaces with warmth, personality and an enduring sense of home.
