Anne-Fleur Aronstein: Sustainable planting

The studio’s work varies from creating private and public designs to developing spatial concepts in different landscapes or urban context, taking an analytical approach whilst focusing on rethinking and improving the quality of the public and private domain in a smart, sustainable and collective way.

“Time and seasonal transitions are inextricably linked to the profession, but they are also an important tool in my work; they are made visible and are carefully designed”.

Her studio works with many different disciplines dictated by the project, collaborating with architects, and artists, cartographers, botanists, engineers and lighting designers along with other local site-specific specialists.

“I take the highest importance in supervising the realisation of my projects in order to guarantee the quality at the completion of the design as well as satisfaction of my clients.”

Sensitive to the ‘genius loci’; the spirit of the place, local materials and techniques, climate and vegetation, she translates spatial concepts with detail into poetic, coherent and meaningful landscapes.
