The Apartment - Another Country

26th Sep 2015

During this year's London Design Festival, Another Country opened its doors to 'The Apartment' to showcase their wide collection of furniture and accessories that the design firm have designed and produced over the past five years.

The Apartment provided an opportunity to delve deeper in to the environment of Another Country; a peaceful space where traditional slow values mix with contemporary British design.

Styled by world-renowned designer Suzy Hoodless, the apartment featured complementary pieces from like-minded brands, including textiles from Notting Hill-based Vanderhurd and artwork from Serpentine Galleries, showcasing the versatility of Another Country’s collections and narrating the brand’s values and ethos.

Dorset-born chef Valentine Warner prepared cocktails for the opening night party using 'hepple gin' from his new distillery in Northumberland, as well as designing the menu for the invitation-only lunches hosted daily in the venue. A series of design talks and events were also hosted in the space during the four days.
