Iconic potter, designer, author, and personality Jonathan Adler is dedicated to bringing style, craft and joy to homes. With a new boutique opening on Westbourne Grove, Jonathan plans to do just that in Notting Hill. Spread over 3,000 square feet, the double-fronted store showcases home décor, furniture, rugs, table-top collections, bedding, gifts, candles and more. Impeccable craftsmanship and irreverent luxury underpin the Adler approach to interiors. Famed for Palm Beach-style pop-tastic prints, ceramic animal objéts and needlepoint cushions, Jonathan Adler Notting Hill is the brand’s 26th global boutique, joining Jonathan Adler Chelsea. "I’m married to a Brit and am a raging Anglophile, so the only thing better than having one store in London is having two. I’m excited to open in Notting Hill and to have another excuse to cross the pond,” says Adler. His creativity is fuelled by various sources of inspiration where mid-century modern art and global pop culture combine to create the signature Adler aesthetic. The company prides itself on its ability to marry serious design philosophy with a colourful sense of optimism. The guiding motto, “If your heirs won’t fight over it, we won’t make it,” reflects Jonathan’s commitment to impeccable craftsmanship and irreverent luxury. In addition to designing furniture and a variety of products, Jonathan has collaborated with many notable brands. In 2004 Jonathan redesigned the iconic California hotel, the Parker Palm Springs. In 2011 Jonathan was selected as LACOSTE’s 6th Annual Collector’s series artist and in 2012 Jonathan collaborated with Kravet to create an exclusive collection of fabrics and partnered with The Rug Company on a collection; each partnership reflects his colourful approach to design and love of craftsmanship.
