Clarendon Road, W11
Recently redesigned by Thomas Croft Architects, this captivating home married original period detail with a contemporary finish. Set on a corner plot on Clarendon Road, moments from Holland Park, it also had it all in terms of lifestyle and location. Arranged over four floors with plenty of space for a growing family, the light-filled house featured well-designed rooms and a fantastic private garden.
With a much sought-after configuration, the long, raised ground floor drawing room featured excellent proportions. Downstairs at basement level there was an open-plan living space incorporating a bulthaup kitchen, and a dining and informal lounge area which extended to a conservatory and finally the garden.
Occupying the entire first floor, the master bedroom featured an en-suite bathroom, finished with Philippe Starck and Dornbracht fittings. There were two more double bedrooms on the second floor, along with a third bedroom space that could have easily worked as a study, and a family bathroom.
Finally... the gorgeous paved, walled garden with mature borders, orchard structures and antique-style mirrors made the garden and the house itself the ultimate London retreat.
