DUNWORTH MEWS
W11
With its elegant muted palette, this two-bedroom apartment in a secluded cobbled mews off Portobello Road was a tranquil retreat in the heart of Notting Hill. An immaculately refurbished mews home spread across the first and second floors, it also boasted a glorious roof terrace with views across the neighbourhood.
The open-plan reception and dining room was filled with light thanks to the original sash windows at the front of the building and the triple-panel windows to the rear. These visually connected the room with a terrace on the second floor and gave a fabulous sense of space.
The kitchen was fitted with smart dark glossy units, and a light-reflective backsplash helped to bounce light around the room. Limed oak flooring throughout the first floor leant a Scandinavian feel to the apartment.
On the second floor, the serene master en-suite bedroom was fitted with a bank of bespoke wardrobes, and a good-sized second bedroom with en-suite shower room overlooking a terrace. Upstairs, the apartment was topped off by a spacious decked roof terrace with 360° views which provided a fabulous space for entertaining, or simply enjoying the view across the rooftops.
