Portobello Road, W11
A classic Notting Hill home – cool, creative, inspiring and unique.
Crisp whites, dark wood and natural stone against amazing light and space suggested that the owners looked to Europe when considering the design. The perfect backdrop for their collection of vintage furniture, books and intriguing prints, the space was instantly interesting and somewhere you could picture in Stockholm or Berlin.
The property had its own private entrance to the rear on Haydon’s Place, making it discreet and free from shared areas.
Inside, the large, 40 ft first floor awaited, incorporating the kitchen and vast living area which measured more than 400 sq ft.
Above on the second floor there were two bright double bedrooms and a tiled shower room. Maximising the sense of space and volume, all rooms on the top floor were opened up to the eaves.
The final piece of the jigsaw was the suntrap roof terrace, delivering the ultimate city oasis.
